The New Black Standard

Astrodon Johnstoni

Now that Obama is the President of the United States I would like to put together my wish list for White America who would now like to take full credit for a multicultural person who they would have lynch, assassinate, or murder if he was not the President.

1. Are all people who are 1% white considered white now...please tell the University of Michigan who wouldn't let in my mulatto cousin.

2. Are young black men going to stop being murdered without reason or due process...ask Shawn Bell, Oscar Grant, and the millions killed by police brutality.

3. Is funding going to be given to Black communities that have been disproportionately funded since reconstruction...I have plenty of school to suggest.

4. Are white women going to acknowledge that all they want to do is be like Black women by telling the rest of America why they inject poisons into their lips, breast, buttocks, and any other body part they admire?

5. Are white men accepting the fact that they secretly fear that Black people who understand their power and abilities are the biggest threat to this nation.

6. Are Rockefeller Laws going to be repealed so that there are not young Black men going to jail for mandatory minimum for crack cocaine versus white with just powdered cocaine?

7. Are Black people going to truly realize their power and change the world that admires and fears them at the same time?

8. Are Black women going to understand that they can have a good Black man if they work to be a good Black woman?

9. Is the media still going to dictate what people believe, regardless if it is right or wrong?

10. Are you going to do something about change instead of waiting for a President to change the world for you!

These are just my thoughts after driving 500 miles to see the Newest President of the United States. I still see work to do Malcolm...who is our forgotten hero.

Sobering Thoughts

As I sit here watching the inauguration of the first Black President, I can never forget the fact that more than one million Black men are watching this inauguration from behind penitentiary bars. However, I am happy and celebratory of the Obama administration. Let us not forget that 1 out 100 Black males is incarcerated. Fight for real change!

Here I Come

I'm on a jet plane to DC. Going to experience one of the best feelings to come into my life. See a Black man become the President of the United States.

Presidential Powers

Eric Holder

Eric Holder supported Mr Obama from early on in his presidential campaign
Barack Obama will appoint Eric Holder to the post of attorney-general, according to US media reports.

If confirmed, Mr Holder, 57, would be the first African-American to occupy the senior position.

He would also lead the administration's efforts to close the Guantanamo Bay prison camp, a move Mr Obama has singled out as a priority.

He served as deputy attorney-general under Bill Clinton and currently works for law firm Covington and Burling.

Know thy Frienemies

Rahm Emanuel

Barack Obama's White House Chief of Staff. (Right hand man)

Will bring to the job: An unusual hybrid of high-level experience as a top adviser to President Bill Clinton together with proven expertise as a Congressional leader and political strategist. Mr. Emanuel is also a close friend of Mr. Obama, a fellow Chicagoan.

As the No. 4 Democrat in the House and an architect of the Democratic majority, Mr. Emanuel knows Congress from the inside out after winning his seat in 2002. In the Clinton administration, he was aggressive, frequently profane and instrumental in shaping domestic policy on issues like health care, welfare and trade.

He earned the nickname Rahmbo for his determination and take-no-prisoners approach — an advantage when trying to bring a thorny issue to resolution, but a style that can be off-putting to those accustomed to gentility. In resigning his seat, Mr. Emanuel will be relinquishing a promising House career and aspirations to become speaker.

44TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

President Barack Hussein Obama | Obey Giant

Tonight was the single most important and powerful night in my adult life. I truly understand that I can be whatever I can imagine. I know that every child has the talents and strengths to change the world that they see around them. I truly love and appreciate that I participated and witnessed this monumental moment in this world. I go to bed feeling better than I have felt in years. God Bless America...cause it needs it.

For the first time in my adult life I am proud to be an American.

Obama has purchased the 1/2-hour slot on Wednesday to push his economic message on U.S. networks ranging from CBS and NBC to Comedy Central..

The ad, which airs at 8 p.m. EDT, coincides with the anniversary of the Oct. 29, 1929, "Black Tuesday" stock market crash that ushered in the Great Depression.

Inspiration

President Barack Obama

Last night might be the most powerful night of my life, thus far. I witnessed not only a Black man make the best argument to be the next president of the United State, but witness the reality that anything can be accomplished if you focus on the goal. I have bear witness to one of the greatest orators, intellectuals, and entrepreneurs (look at his campaign to the best business model) of history. I have never been so inspired to know that the change I am making is a reflection of the great changes that occur around me. When you see a symbol of vigor, astuteness, and change stand in front of you. You watch, as he not only looks like you, he speaks like you, and represents you. It is at that very moment you realize that he is you. When I have conversations with people, I repeatedly tell them that we create our reality, and the things that we see are a reflection of us. Last night, was that glare in the mirror that does nothing more than show you how strong, beautiful and articulate you are. We are blessed to have witness one of the greatest men in history. It is only after you feel the passion, commitment and undying strength that you realize that

EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

Let's Do It

Barack Obama for President

Read the nonsense that McCain has been pushing. My Obama endorsement is here!!! I will suggest that everyone see Zeitgeist before you fall head over heels for any candidates. I love the hypocrisy of America. They will have to deal with a black man running this country...I love it!
