When you know

I knew when I made the choice to be a better man for not just for her, but for myself. I know that she is worth the effort, thoughts, and struggle. I could be ok at my present state, but why just be ordinary when I could be extraordinary. To choose someone above yourself is the greatest sacrifice. I knew that it was going to be a struggle for me since I've spent years being selfish. I thought it was gonna be easy and simple; instead it has been hard. I acknowledge that I've been selfish. Partially because of my situation with my son. The struggle of sacrificing so much to lose it in the (end) has been a struggle. I see that my ways much change, so I step it up. I face my greatest challenges and fears face to face. Some were easy to conquer. Others are such a struggle that I find myself spending hours fight against falling back in the habit. I don't claim to be perfect. Honesty I'm perfectly imperfect. I know that all I can do is put forth all my effort and the greatest reward will come.
You know it's something special when you would move around the world for her. I can say it was simple, but in reality it's the hardest decision I've made thus far. I've put her before me, cause she deserves to be. I haven't praised anyone before, but if I am going to believe, love, and trust someone. Why not the person who makes you think about it?

Friends are the Best Enemies
When you are down and no one is around, who do you have? You
When you become successful and accomplished everything you imaginde, who did it? You
When T Mobile is about to cut off the phone again, who do you call? You
When you can't carry the dead weight anymore, who do I let go of in this struggle? You

The New Black Standard
Now that Obama is the President of the United States I would like to put together my wish list for White America who would now like to take full credit for a multicultural person who they would have lynch, assassinate, or murder if he was not the President.
1. Are all people who are 1% white considered white now...please tell the University of Michigan who wouldn't let in my mulatto cousin.
2. Are young black men going to stop being murdered without reason or due process...ask Shawn Bell, Oscar Grant, and the millions killed by police brutality.
3. Is funding going to be given to Black communities that have been disproportionately funded since reconstruction...I have plenty of school to suggest.
4. Are white women going to acknowledge that all they want to do is be like Black women by telling the rest of America why they inject poisons into their lips, breast, buttocks, and any other body part they admire?
5. Are white men accepting the fact that they secretly fear that Black people who understand their power and abilities are the biggest threat to this nation.
6. Are Rockefeller Laws going to be repealed so that there are not young Black men going to jail for mandatory minimum for crack cocaine versus white with just powdered cocaine?
7. Are Black people going to truly realize their power and change the world that admires and fears them at the same time?
8. Are Black women going to understand that they can have a good Black man if they work to be a good Black woman?
9. Is the media still going to dictate what people believe, regardless if it is right or wrong?
10. Are you going to do something about change instead of waiting for a President to change the world for you!
These are just my thoughts after driving 500 miles to see the Newest President of the United States. I still see work to do Malcolm...who is our forgotten hero.

Motivation in the Music
it’s eerie like that documentary on Lisa Lopez
pentagrams pyramids conspiraspicies with goat heads
knock down the levees
knock down the projects
start another project
build another object
a drive thru touchscreen doctrine for me to digest
there's horses with our blinders on
drivin’ by the obvious
ridin’ by the obvious
glidin’ by the ovbious
regardless who you vote for
if the mind dont grow
and the poverty line don’t go
but the dope keep coming
and the tv keep flashing images of a sports car
then you bound for a coke war
the meek get clowned by the coke law
the sheep get drowned in the folklore
then lulled to sleep by Tom Brokaw
what a pitty
the hope on a politicians tongue
never ever trickles down the city
so if a nigga put a presidents mask on
and run up in the bank with a mac saying gimme gimme
i aint glad at him
but i aint mad at him...

Don't Lose Yourself

In the absence of clearly-defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we become enslaved by it.

Realest Thing I (Never) Wrote
People and situations will change; things will come and go in and out of your life. Yet nothing good is ever lost. The love you know stays with you always, even when the person you love is no longer with you. The good things you do stay with you always, even when time has erased all physical evidence of them.
When you live in fear of losing something, then you never really have or experience it. When you avoid attempting anything because you fear failure, then failure is exactly what you get.
No good effort is ever wasted, for even if it fails to produce any outer value, the inner value is always there. Even when what you do is not recognized, reciprocated or appreciated, still you have had the priceless blessing of doing it.
If you constantly seek the validation of others, you will often be disappointed. Yet when you live, and love and act in each moment with the best that you have to give, the real value you create can never be diminished.
You will reap what you sow...It’s also called Karma!
Do not let others allow you to get outside your character.
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Find my way
I am walking in the direction of all the things that make me happy. Life is all about being happy. I wake up in the morning and feel no motivation to work. There is a recession outside and in my house; we are having the grand awakening. In the coming months I will be promoting some of the ventures that make me feel alive and happy. I know sharing my experience can be the inspiration for you to trust your talents and abilities. If I can motivate the world through a classroom, I can motivate myself through my actions and insight. I must lead by example to show the true power of positive living. This is my testament to the world. I know that sharing my soul will be the only ways I can leave a legacy that leave my name with honor and pride. Greatness is around the corner if I remain persistent, diligent, and passionate.
