Saving Grace

I have began searching for my happy place again. I was posting some quotes that motivate me to move my spirit to the pinnacle it needs to be at. When I accepted mediocrity that was all I was receiving. Over the past week, I have had my ups and downs...much of the time more downs than ups. I am not forgetting the power that is located inside my spirit, I just overlook it for the temporary struggles that I'm facing. That king that sits on the inside of me has been waiting to grow and take it's rightful place on the throne of greatness. When I was following the path of failure I was surrounded by failure. When I woke up and realized that I must change my mindset and thought process and how that would change my surroundings and environment I saw things transforming. I laugh now because my new quote of life is "the spiritually wealthy is sometimes the ones who are financially broke." I am manifesting that spiritual wealth into a tangible material that will provide all the things that are necessary for growth and development. The world is changing around us, because it's changing within us.

Destination

I love everyone who reads this...sharing my pains, pleasures, and perspectives is hard. I'm glad I have someone who shares in on the experience.

Jay Electronica

I have been following an artist for the past few months. A great lyricist who goes by the name Jay Electronica is from New Orleans, more specifically Magnolia Projects (same place as Juvenile). He has the lyrics and flow that is reminiscent of the great rapper out of New York City between 94 and 96. The less I listen to the radio, the more I appreciate artist like Electronica, because the industry truly lacks talent. Let me state it now...Jay Electronica will be a force to reckon with in music.

Last night might be the most powerful night of my life, thus far. I witnessed not only a Black man make the best argument to be the next president of the United State, but witness the reality that anything can be accomplished if you focus on the goal. I have bear witness to one of the greatest orators, intellectuals, and entrepreneurs (look at his campaign to the best business model) of history. I have never been so inspired to know that the change I am making is a reflection of the great changes that occur around me. When you see a symbol of vigor, astuteness, and change stand in front of you. You watch, as he not only looks like you, he speaks like you, and represents you. It is at that very moment you realize that he is you. When I have conversations with people, I repeatedly tell them that we create our reality, and the things that we see are a reflection of us. Last night, was that glare in the mirror that does nothing more than show you how strong, beautiful and articulate you are. We are blessed to have witness one of the greatest men in history. It is only after you feel the passion, commitment and undying strength that you realize that

This weekend was such a reflection of my thinking. On my vision board I have twothings that came into my life over this weekend. The first occasion was on Saturday when I was privilaged to have a good friend of mine give me a laptop that I have needed for a while. I placed a laptop on my vision board about two weeks ago. I couldn't think of how I was going to get a laptop, I couldn't afford one and I damn sure didn't know anyone to just have one sitting around. Then I receive a phone call that I could have exactly what I have been thinking about.

After I picked up the laptop, which was better than the one I had placed on my vision board, I went and hung out with a good friend of mine. I was honored to go to pottery painting place and use my artist mind to create a gift that I will give to my family. This was a very ironic situation because my mind has become dedicated to being very appreciative for the things that I have. In most cases, I would make something for myself instead I made a gift to show my appreciate for the support and love that I receive from my family. I feel privilage to have such good people around me. After we finished painting I had one of the deepest conversations about the power of our thinking and actions. I have received gifts that I thought of...thus far
