Return of the Life

So after months of being a recluse
Someone let me out, now I'm lose
This is war, we can't make a truce
We speeding to the end, no cruise
Who knew that I would be back to
What I use to love to do
Who I use to love to do
Who knew how I keep meeting you
The sun raise and the darkness flew
We are here in a duel of the hearts
I write my art as a part of the start
This sour taste you left before, now is tart
That was the interlude to the best part
Now I'm back from the coldest winter
When others exits that was when I entered

Foreign

I wrote this poem for those people who have been in this position. A year ago, I decided I was going to do things different and wouldn't return to these emotion. I've have change my external world, but on the inside I still struggle with these feelings. I have no reason to write them but they still sit there. A wise man told me "Life is not a destination, it's a journey," so I keep walking in hopes that in this journey I find sanity.

We stand here at the precipice
I'm one step from another slit wrist
You're one step from another hissy fit
Can't keep repeating the same mistakes
But every time seems like another retake
We started ok, then end in a delay
Always ending with us being afraid
Afraid to change our past habits
The ones that left past discretion tragic
The feelings that make us look past it
As if they had never happened
I can't remain the same, doing it different
Too busy talking to have time to listen
How could I do things different when I'm always right
thinking I'm the beginning and end of the fight
Seeing us in action is scary cause one minute we're friends
Then enemies, then back bends, then lost energy spent
Is it cause I'm scared to sleep alone than atone
Leader of none and king of no throne
I always reaped what I sowed
A hot head that loves to be near the stove
Standing in the kitchen with a heart so cold
I don't know when things will change
I just know that these pains are stained
I've been here before and vowed I wouldn't return
Then I'm found in the candle light during the slow burn

The dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward, physical action, and gradually transform themselves into physical reality.

...is like Sports

Dwight Howard

I was recently talking to one of my friends about how dating is like sports and they found this philosophy to be very interesting. We were discussing how when you date someone it works similar to sports. (For the sake of conversation I'll use basketball to explain the analogies). First when you meet some you are putting them in training camp. Training camp consist of you asking a series of questions to determine their capabilities, acceptance of their teammates, and a physical/mental evaluation. You should always evaluate them because you want to know how they will play in your "system". If they're lucky enough to make it through training camp and you want to bring them into your team, you must draft them. Drafting gives them the ability to choose if they want to play for your squad. Some other teams will offer things such as recognition, money, and other amenities. Once they're involved you put them on a 10 day contract to still reconsider if you want to keep this player. (In 80% of my drafts, I drop players at this point) Now this is the part where you test them on their skills and abilities. You may go out and see if they offer to pay. You may ask them to find something to do, and rate their creativity. However you check out their skills, you do it your way. Now they have one of two options on your squad. You can bring them in and make them a starter (like most people do because they are excited by the newness). Now you have a young superstar who has not worked very much to get their position, so they may not appreciate the spot their placed in. My suggestion would be to put them on the bench. Even though you might be madly in love with their attributes and they may be the perfect person for you. You must still place them on the bench so that they appreciate every time they get playing time (or attention). While they are on the bench you spend some time developing the rest of the team. You may want to bring on some more young players. You may feel the need to reevaluate your veteran, who may have been declining for some time. Or you may simply just let time do its job...increase intrigue. Once you have brought this player into a position where they are gaining playing time, you must start out with a little bit of time. Walk them into the full schedule if that's what you are looking for. I choose to watch them play with their time allotted and see if they play harder to get more time or sit back and do nothing but waste time. As your team develops and grows you must make sure to never sacrifice your position as the General Manager, so that you can be on the same level as the player. If you are professional and good at your craft you can be an owner and recognized by all the great "players" of your time:) lol

Just a student...

I don't know what comes over me at times:) Tell me what you think of this.

She told me that she wanted a real man
So I reached out the palm of my hand
There she stands wondering if I am..
what I say I am...the existence of man
Everything that she could imagine
All my thoughts broken into fractions
Can't let her past on the experience
This could be the pretense to an intense
...Conversation:)
You standing there smiling so hard it hurts
And I can't help but flirt, in my eyes you're first
So intrigued that as we speak I seek
For the second to taste what you speak
Your site could mesmerize the virgin eyes
Of someone who never seen a Queen in their sites
I can't help but appreciate the things you do
Damn, you even have on some fly ass shoes
Too cool for these tools who drool over you
Talking that caca poo poo :)
I knew I could get another smile out of you

Zzzzz

Mr. Reggie Noble

As I share these experience, you find that I am nothing more than a man. Not a man in the sense of male hood. I'm past the point in my life where I can be mistaken for a boy. The physical is youthful, but the soul has been here so many other times. A reflection of all the spirits that attract and depart, each taking a piece of my being. I know that being a man is based upon what I leave to the planet. I impact almost everything I come in touch with the same style and grace as Hancock...lol. She comes in...she remembers...she comes back...I leave. A repeated cycle that has seem to find a place with me. In due time I could break away from the chase. How can you when the next one could be the ONE? The nu nu could have you loose...and lost in the sauce. So I patiently watch and wait to see who will be the one...now.
