When we are placed in difficult situations we must step forward out of the light of darkness. When the spirit is at the point where it questions what right and wrong. We stand there thinking is this the point that I will be broken or do I move forward thru these troubled water. Stand tall and be willing to endure life's abrasions. They make the armor stronger!

The New Black Standard

Now that Obama is the President of the United States I would like to put together my wish list for White America who would now like to take full credit for a multicultural person who they would have lynch, assassinate, or murder if he was not the President.

1. Are all people who are 1% white considered white now...please tell the University of Michigan who wouldn't let in my mulatto cousin.

2. Are young black men going to stop being murdered without reason or due process...ask Shawn Bell, Oscar Grant, and the millions killed by police brutality.

3. Is funding going to be given to Black communities that have been disproportionately funded since reconstruction...I have plenty of school to suggest.

4. Are white women going to acknowledge that all they want to do is be like Black women by telling the rest of America why they inject poisons into their lips, breast, buttocks, and any other body part they admire?

5. Are white men accepting the fact that they secretly fear that Black people who understand their power and abilities are the biggest threat to this nation.

6. Are Rockefeller Laws going to be repealed so that there are not young Black men going to jail for mandatory minimum for crack cocaine versus white with just powdered cocaine?

7. Are Black people going to truly realize their power and change the world that admires and fears them at the same time?

8. Are Black women going to understand that they can have a good Black man if they work to be a good Black woman?

9. Is the media still going to dictate what people believe, regardless if it is right or wrong?

10. Are you going to do something about change instead of waiting for a President to change the world for you!

These are just my thoughts after driving 500 miles to see the Newest President of the United States. I still see work to do Malcolm...who is our forgotten hero.

Focus of the Week: Resistence

We must resist ignorance, stupidity, thievery, and blatant lying. I am becoming increasingly sick of the media outlets in this country. Even though, at the same time I don't like the news, I feel a need to be informed of the American lie. In the coming weeks, I am thinking about the way in which I will leave this country. I'm wondering why people are not in the streets rioting over the fact that they are going to take your hard earned money to pay off the wealthiest's debt . I am becoming increasingly resistance to the "recession" that is occurring in this country, because the last time I checked my family has been in a recession since we arrived on this continent. Fight for your ability to think freely, they are trying to steal our minds.

Focus of the Week: Diligence

I must remain steady on obtaining my goals...if I do not stick with it I will regret faltering to this journey called life. Therefore, my focus thisweeks is to maintain my diligence.

Diligence (noun):constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is undertaken; persistent exertion of body or mind.

Therefore, while I am working at my dreams I still need support, so stick with me through this journey. Because the end will be so much sweeter with the longer drive...just ask JD

It's about income and influence in the end
I tend not to blend in with society
Watching... so that they don't body me
I never copped a plea for it to be easy
I just believe that when I leave
You should remember me
I rather have nothing striving for something
Then be here acting like I'm something with nothing!
